Release!


Exciting news! Finally, the game is in a state we are comfortable to release it to the public. You can try the demo still with the first two islands (23 levels in all game modes), or buy the full version with 94 levels and around 6 hours of gameplay from start to finish. The game can be hard on some levels even in Normal Mode, but should you want to challenge yourself, the Hard Mode (with timer only levels, and not replenishing lives), or the Rogue Mode (no story, different island, and choose levels pick-your-poison style) certainly will provide one.

The Future of Firebat - Revolution...

The game certainly will get some updates, as - being an indie game developed with limited resources - there certainly will be some fixing to do. This is why feedback is always appreciated. We will continue with a possible switch version, as we started to work together with a former colleague of mine who has some smaller titles out on that console. Of course, any changes to the switch version (fixes, improvements, extra content) will be provided as update to the PC version. He also managed to convert the code (at least part of it) to sega dreamcast, so we saw it running on the original hardware: the Firebat on the first level, bouncing a ball. :) 

The Future of Inked Pixel...

The publisher - being in the business of books - has its own stuff to do and we are mostly self managing ourselves. We talked about some possible new future projects, as well as taking up other developers and older projects for old platforms (mostly 8-bit machines like the Commodore 64). We will see as nothin really is set to stone as of yet.
